A heartfelt note to my lovely supporters

I hope you are all keeping well and safe. I think we can all agree that the world feels like an unsettling and topsy turvy place at the moment, with pretty much the whole of society being affected in one way or another.
It feels slightly wrong to be talking about business at this time, but the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on small businesses like mine is real, it’s happening now and no-one knows when we’ll be coming out of the other side. Some businesses undoubtedly won’t make it out of this, and that is heartbreaking.
As well as providing me with a livelihood, over the past 10 years, my business has become a safe place where I can express my creativity, manage my mental health, develop meaningful connections and relationships, help others by sharing things I’ve learned and so much more. The thought of that falling away through no fault of my own makes me feel angry and extremely anxious.
Getting back to my main point for writing this, I wanted to let you - my tribe of brilliant supporters - that I’m working as hard as I can to keep my business afloat during this time. Unfortunately but understandably, all of the events and workshops I had booked for this Spring and Summer have been cancelled and many of the retailers I supply are unable to place orders for stock due to the effect this thing’s having on their businesses. All of this means that I’ll be relying on online sales to keep me going for the foreseeable future, so I’ll be putting in all the time and energy I can to making it as enjoyable and easy as possible to order online. I’ve introduced free UK delivery and same day despatch is now available on some products.
Every sale, no matter how small, genuinely helps keep this business going, so if you are able to show your support, then please be assured that when you do, you will be making a tangible difference.
Thank you for reading and for your support.
With love and gratitude,
Jenni x
